1.Don’t Procrastinate, Accomplishing something
Sometimes just getting something done is stress relieving. It does not
have to be big things.

about what will happen in the future. You worry about what you did or did
not say to a difficult boss or irritating co-worker or agonizing about that
upcoming meeting or deadline. The present, alas gets lost in the shuffle,
as does any enjoyment you could be experiencing. Train yourself to live in the
present focusing on what is happening to you right at this moment, your life
can be much less stressful.

3. Get Up Early
Getting up early is

spent wisely, the rest of your day will unfold in a wonderful way.

sincere and specific. Make a list of all you have to be grateful for and get
some perspective. Gratitude and stress rarely coexist and the positive
psychology movement has proven scientifically that this one will make you
happier.
6. Renew Yourself
You
are a much like high performance racing car worth millions of dollar. Your mind
is the greatest wonder of the universe and your body has the capacity to
perform feats that might astonish you.
Knowing the value of
this high performance multi-million dollar machine would it be wise to
run it full out every minute of every day without taking a pit-stop to let the
motor cool down? Of course
not.
Taking the time to renew yourself is the most
important thing you can do.
Take some time to cool down the high performance engine
of your mind. Take time from your hectic schedule for self- improvement and
personal enrichment will dramatically improve your effectiveness once you get
back into it.
7. Compose a Mantra
Devise an
affirmation — a short, clear, positive statement that focuses on your coping
abilities. “Affirmations are a good way to silence the self-critical voice we
all carry with us that only adds to our stress,” Dr. Elkin says. The next time
you feel as if your life is one disaster after another, repeat 10 times, “I feel
calm. I can handle this.”
8. Help other people
People who help
others, through activities such as volunteering or community work, become
more resilient.

If you don't have
time to volunteer, try to do someone a favour every day. It can be something
as small as helping someone to cross the road or going on a coffee run for

positives in life, and things for which you're grateful.

always appreciate what they have," says Professor Cooper. "Try to be
glass half full instead of glass half empty," he says.
Try
writing down three things that went well, or for which you're grateful, at
the end of every day.
Studies indicate
that optimism or pessimism may affect your quality of life. Optimism enables
you to cope better with stressful situations, likely reducing the effects
of stress on your body.
10. Make a Balance
Make a balance in
every part of your life.
You can be a good
executive and make money for your company, but if you don’t get along
with your spouse and your children you are missing a crucial part of your life.
So, also give love and attention to your family members.
